Reflection
Defining the UI of this product was challenging due to the lack of accessible to direct and indirect competitors products (Ex: Chewy, Amazon, and Walmart). I overcame this by outlining user flows and needs, and conducting feedback sessions with experienced warehouse workers during the sketching and wireframe stages. Their insights helped us understand and improve upon existing interfaces. A key lesson from moderated usability testing to make it clear we are not looking for them to find the write answer. There is an inherent want to please your colleges when testing on an internal group of users. in the initial MVP rounds of building this product I want not clear with my introduction that we where not testing them but the product.
